We had the all-time experience with Fox. The await was mayhap two minutes. The young homo was very polite checking u.s. in. He also gave us a gratuitous upgrade. Car was clean and had plenty of room. Returning the machine was even easier! I am belatedly writing this review. But Cheers FOR MAKING THIS SO Like shooting fish in a barrel FOR US! I will continue to book when we travel.

I actually had a positive experience renting from Fob Rentals in San Francisco and returning to Play tricks in San Diego. The wait was minimal, received a free upgrade, no serious attempts to upsell me on any extras, and no boosted charges than what was expected on my credit bill of fare. For the record, I booked directly through the Trick Rentals website.

This was in Phoenix, AZ. My family unit and I were having major problems with the car we rented from a dissimilar rental, and spent hours trying to fix information technology. An astonishing man named, Boyfriend, from Fox helped me rent a car after we left the outset place. He had an astonishing easy-going attitude which calmed my intense feet. We croaky jokes and had such an easy time getting a new machine in just 10 minutes! I'll recollect you Beau! When returning out automobile, Norman helped us practice a nice, quick cheque in. I've had a great experience with Melissa who helped me to select the right motorcar for the trip and who diligently and patiently tried to accommodate (and succeeded!) all my needs. The Hyundai Elantra worked out similar a charm for me. I am very happy!

I booked Fob Rent a Car through Hopper every bit the pricing was well-nigh one-half the price of other rental car agencies. Subsequently booking, I read through the reviews and became very nervous as the reviews were pretty bad. Multiple hr wait times, no cars bachelor, dingy & broken vehicles, unauthorized charges etc. Nosotros reserved a mini van and received a 2019 Contrivance Grand Caravan with 44K miles. It was definitely a base model - seats & lights were not automated- only the vehicle ran fine and got united states of america from point A to Point B.
The bank check in process could have been quicker. It took a half hour at the counter before it was our turn and another half 60 minutes in the garage to wait for our vehicle to be brought to us so about an hour in total. I read many reviews about additional charges that the consumer was not aware of. Nosotros were charged a $150 security deposit that was promptly refunded. Nosotros were also charged about $63 for an boosted commuter which I didn't run into on their website when booking even though nosotros listed him on the booking. I am under the impression that if it had been a spouse it is no charge but this was my adult son. They did clearly state there would be an extra accuse when we picked up the vehicle. I read reviews almost actress charges regarding tolls merely there were no tolls in our areas.
They offered us all of the additional insurances but we declined and they were non pushy equally many other reviews have claimed and nothing additional was charged without our cognition except the $63 for the boosted driver that we agreed to. We brought the car back completely total as some reviews stated that they were told it was cheaper to take them fill it but in fact it was a huge charge. They did state that when the motorcar was returned you must take the credit bill of fare yous booked the reservation with equally it would be swiped. My son returned the car which was the reason we put him equally a driver and he is not in possession of our credit bill of fare. The only manner effectually that was he had to give his credit card for the eolith and actress $63. It was a hassle and in the finish they never asked to meet his credit menu when he returned the vehicle.
I guess in decision, this wasn't my preferred rental machine agency. The wait time was a bit long, and the vehicle was definitely no frills. It was more of a budget car rental feel but nosotros did salvage several hundred dollars, the customer service agents were friendly, and for the price savings I was happy enough with our experience.

Rented at car at TPA for one week. Went through 1 toll for $.54 and fox added $15.00 admin fee. Consummate ripoff. I was not aware of any cost charges and was non informed that if needed I could purchase a SUN pass business relationship through the Florida Highway organisation.

When registering to choice up the car the agent informed me they did non accept my credit card insurance coverage and the extra would be $36/day. He tried to tell me information technology was Mexican law that my credit card could not be used. I told him that was non true every bit I had rented previously from other companies and never had an issue. He then pulled out a crumpled printed canvas and said it was their policy. At that place was no mention of this when making the booking. I left and will never book with Fox again. Beware they are owned by Europcar. So I accept blackness listed them every bit well.

Took over 1 hour to be "side by side" and we were 4th in line. The reason it was taking and then long is that they started tacking on charges to anybody'due south confirmation for fees, insurance etc etc. We finally got out of at that place in simply nether 2 hours. Carlos tried to help two of u.s.a. at the same time...acting so cocky that he was "going to take intendance of us"... Well I finally got a straight answer from the boss of the timeshare salesperson there "YES", the car reps are on commission! The more fees they tack onto your car rental, the more than they make!!!! Also, if you lot practise rent hither, Practice NOT allow them tell you they have photos of all the scratches and dents as Carlos of course did simply when nosotros returned the guy said NO, there was cypher reported. THANK heaven we had taken over a dozen and he finally accepted when nosotros showed him the date nosotros took. THEY ARE AFTER YOUR Money! Beware of Carlos!

My good friend Barbara ** rented an SUV from Fox with my girl Anea every bit the authorized 2d commuter for a trip to Seattle and back to Burbank. I was the passenger. Upon arriving in Seattle and pulling into the hotel's parking garage, a rear tire shredded to treadless strips of safe. Thank God we were but going less than 5mph when this happened. Fox, displaying marked indifference to the state of affairs, suggested no course of action other than we buy a new tire. Tires don't shred on rental cars when maintained, serviced and replaced when required. A few days afterward, the vehicle would non start, and the service lite was on. We added more gasoline, only the car nevertheless wouldnt start. Flim-flam offered to bring u.s.a. another vehicle and pick upwards the onetime one. They did bring us a new one and towed away the get-go one. At no time was the vehicle in any standoff or accident. Had there been a collision or accident there would of course have been a full accident report filed.
We were all shocked when Fox billed Ms ** almost $2,000 in repairs to a vehicle that was NEVER DAMAGED while in our possession. They referred to "the incident" -- there was never an incident! There was never any damage. If there were damage information technology could merely be AFTER the vehicle was taken from u.s.a. past the towing visitor. Expect, it gets worse. Prior to returning the vehicle to Burbank, an incident report was filed of a NO Harm/NO Collision event at a finish light when a auto slammed on its brakes in forepart of our vehicle. Our vehicle stopped without making any direct contact with vehicle in front. The driver of the front car, (uninsured) insisted on a report equally he wanted to claim that his female parent in constabulary in the forepart passenger seat suffered whiplish and a dent in the right SIDE of his car (obviously preexistent) was caused by non-existent collision! His attempts patently failed.
When the vehicle was returned to Fox at that place was no revelatory discovery of new damage to the vehicle whatsoever. Later, however, Ms ** was billed $1600 for repairs when there was null to repair equally there was no new damage whatever to the vehicle. More than one complaint regarding these blatant fraudulent charges have been filed with the State Attorney Full general, and I am amazed that this company is however in business.
